With effect from 10.10.2020, Johannes Gallois takes over the management of GECA Pharma GmbH as the successor of Alexander Rieg and concurrently his shares in the company.

The mutual change takes place upon request of Mr. Rieg, who would like to face new professional challenges. Alexander Rieg explains: "I would like to thank all customers, business partners and stakeholders from politics, industry and healthcare for the good cooperation in recent years". "We thank Mr. Rieg for his extraordinary commitment since the company was founded in 2017 and for his contribution to the company's success," said the new managing director Johannes Gallois. "We wish Mr. Rieg all the best and success for the future".

There is agreement on the modalities of termination.

GECA Pharma GmbH was founded in 2017 and is one of the first importers of medical cannabis in Germany. The Cologne-based company had campaigned for sustainable patient care from the start. The change in management is intended to strengthen the company's international focus and existing cooperations.

The most important goals of GECA Pharma GmbH include the further development and research of cannabinoid therapies, as well as optimal security of supply for patients.
